Is it "metropolitan" geek, or "meteorology" geek? Both shorten to "metgeek", which is a nickname I chose to adopt many years ago when I was both studying meteorology and wanting to live in a more metropolitan setting.
I'm a resident of Tennessee, a former native of Indiana, born in Missouri and raised in Michigan. I guess you could say that I've traveled a bit. I'm gainfully employed working 40 or more hours a week - blogging is one of many side gigs.
I studied weather, still relish watching and chasing storms (harder to do so in Tennessee), and have a number of interests ranging from books to movies, photography to writing, and many things in between.
